Your questions, answered
What colour is sapphire?
Sapphire is best known in a deep velvety blue, although the stone comes in almost every colour except red, which is ruby. It is the September birthstone.
What does sapphire mean?
Sapphire is traditionally a symbol of truth and faithfulness, which is one reason it became a favourite for engagement rings. It is also the traditional gemstone for a 45th wedding anniversary.
Are your sapphire pieces real sapphire?
Most are set with sapphire CZ in a deep blue. The sterling silver stud earrings feature natural sapphire and the raw styles have an uncut look, so each product page lists the exact stone.
Which sapphire piece makes a good gift?
A small pendant or the Aster birthflower studs are easy everyday pieces for a September birthday. For an anniversary, a tennis bracelet or the heart eternity ring feels more of an occasion.
Can I return it?
Yes. Website orders can be returned free within 30 days of receiving them, unworn and in their original packaging. Anything ordered from 1 November can be returned until 31 January, and engraved pieces can only be returned if faulty.
