Your questions, answered
What is the December birthstone?
December has two birthstones in our collection: turquoise and blue topaz. Turquoise is an opaque sky blue to blue green stone, while blue topaz is a clear, bright blue.
What does turquoise mean?
Turquoise is one of the oldest stones worn, found in ancient Egyptian jewellery, and it has long been linked with protection, good fortune and friendship. Blue topaz has long been linked with honesty and calm.
Are your December birthstone pieces real turquoise?
Our opal and turquoise pieces feature natural turquoise, and the raw styles have an uncut look. Other pieces use turquoise CZ or blue topaz CZ, so each product page lists the exact stone.
Is a December birthstone a good Christmas gift?
For anyone with a December birthday it works for both, and the Holly birthflower studs suit the season. Order by Friday 18 December for free delivery before Christmas, or by 12pm on Tuesday 22 December with Next Day Delivery.
Can I return a Christmas gift?
Yes. Anything ordered from 1 November can be returned until 31 January, unworn and in its original packaging, and UK returns are free. The person who received the gift can return it too, with the refund going to the original payment method.
